Our journey as followers of Christ are not meant to be lived alone
but with others who share the same road.
WHAT IS A DGROUP?
A Dgroup, short for discipleship group, is a small group of people that meet regularly, either in person or through Zoom, to share their lives with each other, study the Bible together, pray together, and are accountable to each other, all in the pursuit of being more Christ-like.
These DGroups are made up of individuals and couples of all ages and stages in life. It is organized by neighborhood for easy get together and fellowship.
Each group has its own rhythm when it comes to studying the Bible, in connecting with one another, and in serving and praying together.
WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN A DGROUP?
COMMUNITY - It fosters fellowship and is a safe space to share lives with each other.
Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2
CARE - It is a spiritual family where people support, encourage, and pray for each other.
and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some,
but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25
CHARACTER - It helps build character through mutual accountability and building each other up.
Iron sharpens iron, So one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 27:17
COLLABORATION - It is a place where serving God can be done shoulder to shoulder.
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Peter 4:10
